Job Information


To ensure that the Agency’s plans are relevant, value added and effective by undertaking continuous research and analyses of statistical and other information on the internal and external environment, adopting applicable insights in the preparation of the Corporate Plan.


  • Assists Unit heads in the preparation of their annual operational plan in keeping with the agreed strategic plan and initiatives
  • Identifies and provides advice on major opportunities for performance improvement at the strategic level as well as critical issues/threats to successful goal attainment
  • Implements continuous improvements strategies
  • Develops compelling materials to advance and/or advocate the Agency’s corporate strategy
  • Leads due diligence efforts across corporate functional and business operating teams
  • Offers new perspectives and confidently shares problem solving ideas that are creative, practical, and value-added while incorporating strategic direction


  • Facilitates the implementation of the organization’s Business and Corporate Planning Processes ensuring effective communication throughout the Agency
  • Monitors the execution of cross functional strategic initiatives throughout the Agency advising on timeframes and resources as well as providing support/follow-up to insure successful implementation
  • Assists the DCEO Corporate Services with major corporate projects as required to include performance of detailed valuations on acquisition/divestiture opportunities or cost benefit analysis of various strategic options
  • Assists the Agency in the organization of seminars, meetings, in order to communicate and disseminate research findings
  • Coordinates the monthly, quarterly and annual performance evaluations of the Agency and prepares evaluation reports
  • Performs any other related duties assigned from time-to-time

  • Thorough understanding of business continuity planning and ability to facilitate the process across the organization
  • Thorough knowledge of the applied use of information technology and productivity software; such as Microsoft
  • Office and Microsoft Excel
  • Expert ability to analyse very complex Operations data, policy options and draw logical conclusions
  • Sound knowledge of pertinent research and analytical methodology and ability to apply such techniques to policy

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administrative, Public Administration or equivalent professional qualification;
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in business planning, corporate planning, risk management and organizational performance in the public or private sector
